Alexander Scott Huslage arrived at 1:58pm on June 20,2008.
He weighs 8 pounds 9 ounces and is 21 and 5/8ths inches in length. The story of his birth is very interesting, as is evidenced in the prior post, but the baby is doing well and we should be able to come home on Monday.
I am ecstatic. More later.

There’s a few things I need to explain to you. First of all you live on a planet full of these things called “people”. People are kind of cute and interesting. They are very excitable and they are always doing things called “projects”. Often this involves going to lots of places and looking at things and poking things. You will find people to be quite entertaining. Another thing that you need to learn about is that the world is really rather quite large. It will take you most of your augmented life-span to explore it – and by the time you are done exploring it you will have to start over because it will have changed. I think that’s about it. I suppose there is this other thing called “music” and these things called “books” and this other thing called “computers” but you can figure those out by yourself. Welcome to Earth.
