I’ve made it a whole week posting every day. I have to admit, it’s a bit easier than I thought it was going to be, but at the same time, I’ve had things to say. It will get more difficult as the days go on and I and everyone reading this comes to realize what a boring life I happen to lead. As it is, I don’t have much to say tonight, but not for lack of ideas. More for lack of energy.

Since I’m lame here’s a list of random thoughts:
1. We had fun at the concert last night. Although right after Kimya Dawson’s set, we had to run back to the Erin and Kirk’s house so I could feed Alex. He decided he didn’t want to take the bottle.

2. Uh…we found a house to rent. This is news to most people, I think. I’ve been meaning to tell everyone, but things have been crazy. The downside is that it is within walking distance to our in-laws house. The upside is that it is within walking distance to our in-laws house. Honestly, living down the street from them probably would not have been something I would have considered earlier in my life. Not because I don’t like them, but because I like my space. But this house…I love. I mean, really truly love it. 3 bedroom, 2 bath, formal dining room and living room, kitchen with two ovens, den, screened in porch with ceiling fans…I felt immediately at home. There’s more, which I’ll elaborate on later, but we’re happy and excited.

3. I’ve been getting my nostalgia fix from the MTV video archive. I could link to a ton of them, but I’ll pick a handful of my favorites from my childhood:

• Money for Nothing by Dire Straits
• Thriller by Michael Jackson (the long version)
• Sledgehammer by Peter Gabriel
• And this little gem.
