7 Random Things

Alex held a phone cord to his ear today and clearly said, “Hi.” In fact it was the clearest I’ve heard him say it yet.
On the way to Aaron’s work there is a handwritten sign attached to an exit sign post that says, “Walmart Now Open.” It’s written in black marker and gives no other information. Where this Walmart is and who put the sign there is not apparent.
I’ve also been seeing turtles on the highway on my way to taking Aaron to work. I’ve seen two so far, and have gone back to save them. By the time I get back, they are no longer there. Aaron is beginning to question what little sanity I have left.
One of the only things I miss from my pre-parenthood days is being able to go to the movies on a whim.
My cat Mischa is really fat and I need to put him on a diet.
Aaron and I need to put ourselves on a diet and start exercising.
I’m really sleepy.
